Consulting

I work with a group of Accessibility Consultants who have a vast range of expertise related to accessibilizing the spaces, policies, practices and communications of businesses, organizations, and departments.

We are developing our web presence over winter-spring 2016-17. And are accepting new clients.

Our fees are based on a standard and sliding scale based on the annual revenue of the client.

2016-17 files

-> Developing a training for community organizations, with the Centre for Community Organizations (Coco).

-> From August 2016 to present, I and two colleagues have consulted on the Milieux Institute for Arts Culture and Technology’s emergency evacuation procedures and infrastructure.

-> Currently, I am working with colleagues to pass and maintain an accessibility policy at the Concordia University Graduate Students’ Association, and increase accessibility of the Association’s practices and events.

2015 files

-> I worked with the Centre for Gender Advocacy in developing an accessibility policy for that organization, focusing on hosting public events in wheelchair accessible venues only. They are now carrying that work forward!

-> In collaboration with many disabled colleagues and supporters, along with Quebec Public Interest Research Group, Concordia, I worked on increasing the accessibility of a major annual literary event in Montreal.

Areas we cover include: infrastructure to policy, to daily practices, both on long-term and shorter-term timelines.
