The Underwater City Project is a video documentary about searching for the perfectly accessible city in Canada. It is a journey-based documentary that will present a first-hand experience of each city I visit, and will feature the stories of residents of the cities.
The idea for this project came as I was doing laps at my neighbourhood pool, imagining how easy life would be if I could swim everywhere as opposed to walking, worrying about access to public transit or dealing with inaccessible physical and social spaces.
On this site I will offer first-hand experiences, photos, fun facts, observations, and stories I pick up along the way as I meander across the country preparing for the doc!
